which frame slider is best?

Pro Impact Frame Slider Black CBR600F2/F3 - Chaparral Motorsports

This one doesnt say a thing about fairing modification where as the one below does. If i could save time and effort by not modifing my fairings that would be ideal. Is there a disadvantage to the ones listed above and do they really require fairing mods and it's just not listed?

Diamond Powersports Frame Sliders CBR600F2/F3 91-98 - Chaparral Motorsports

Re: which frame slider is best?

From what I've seen and heard, the frame sliders that don't mount "straight in", like the Diamond Powersports ones you linked to aren't as good in a fall. The plate the slider mounts to tends to bend under the weight of the bike and you end up with damage anyway.

However, I have seen "no cut" sliders that did just fine also. So it all depends. How's that for not answering your question?

Personally, I'd rather take the time to cut the plastic.
