Re: clicking coming from clutch

i have the same problem with my 01 f4i, but see when i adjust the idle to a higher rpm, it goes away, but if it sits at about 1000 rpm, it isn't loud but it is there?

Re: clicking coming from clutch

i havent changed oil yet only put about 750miles on it will do this winter but i checked out my clutch cable and the thing is very glossy and all the way stretched out to the point where i can not adjust it any more. and yes it does click at 1000rpms but any higher then 2grand it gos away or if i put tension on it. i am going to change cable and see if that does any good thanks for the input! sorry i havent replied. been busy!
