Basic maintenance - F4i

I am new to riding and want to know what basic maintanence and check-up type work do I need to do on my F4i in order to keep it running at high performance levels. Also, how often and what types of regular maintanence need to be done?

Did you get an owner's manual with the bike? It will have a maintenance schedule in it. If not, you can get one at www.helminc.com
Get the service manual while you're at it. Money well spent.

All the basic maintenance and checks (oil filter/fluid, air filters, brake fluid, etc) are in the operator's manual.

Purchasing the service manual, if you're mechanically inclined, will help you tremendously.
