| silver forks on used 05 RR?-Help!! hello everyone this is my first post in this forum. how you all doing? Anyways I am desperate for some input from you guys. For some reason my supposed cbr600rr5 has silver forks. my point is I haven't seen any other 05 with silver forks. they all have gold so I'm worried that the place i got my bike from might have swapped them out and put some old crappy forks from an old bike. everything else seems right but those forks. | Re: silver forks on used 05 RR?-Help!! 2005 was the first year for the inverted forks on the 600RR. So, the part of the fork you see next to the front wheel will be silver. But, if you are talking about the housings than that is a different story. The 03-04 fork housings were silver. The 05-06 fork housings are gold. and the 07s are black.
