F3 slips gears

My '96 F3 seems to slip gears through 1st and 2nd if I'm shifting fast. It also seems to happen when in high rpms from 5th to 6th gear.

Aside from being extremely annoying and sometimes embarrassing, I'm quite sure it isn't good for my bike. Does anybody have any experience with dealing with this kind of issue?

So far I've lowered the gear shifter to decrease the distance my foot has to move to fully switch gears, but it definitely has not helped which tells me it's an issue on the bike. Also, I've recently replaced the chain and not the sprockets. Would worn sprockets have anything to do with this issue?

I've also replaced the clutch lever which made it a lot tighter and so I don't have to pull the lever in so far.

Thanks for any help.

Sprokets shouldn't have anything to do with it. Make sure you're using the proper motorcycle oil, I've heard of people putting the wrong oil it and it slipping like that. If not that your clutch fibers are probably shot.
