Anyone lower an F3 ? how much drop ? pics please !!

I hate to ask so much BUT I really want to set my F3 up right im going to do about 50 miles a day on it 5 days a week and i want to be comfortable also im short

did anyone lower i was thinking -1" front and -2" in the back is this too much ? will it make it hard to turn ? besides from using it to get to work i hope to do a few track days

any pics of your lowered bike would be great

Also while im at it anyone have a lead on an oil pan for an 97-98 before i pay a dealer for a new one its $160 that would dent the bike budget

I'm short so I lowered the front of my F3 an inch which helped alot. Also seemed to turn in alittle better. I still had to one foot it at stop lights but you get used to it after awhile. Sorry my pic doesn't show you much but its all I got.

Is this low enough for you

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73...t/Pdr_0304.jpg

I used a strut when I lowered it.I had about 1/2" clearance between the back wheel and undertail. The front was lowered about 2 1/2".My 954 is going to look similiar when im done with it,but it will have a longer swingarm. The 600 had a 10" stretch in that pic.If your looking to lower it in the back you can just buy a lowering link.If memory serves me correct it gives you a 1"-2" drop in the rear.I wouldnt go as low as I did in the front as its pretty dangerous with it that low.

$60-$85 is about right. These are not like the suzuki ones,so they cost more.

When i lowered my bike it helped out alot but like i said i still had to use one foot at stop lights. I could get both feet to touch the ground but barely.

Steering Geometry, Chain tension and risk of catching the stands and/or your feet when heaving round the bend would be my big concerns

810mm is stock on all CBRs and many other Honda bikes
