Lowering front end on 97 CBR 600 F3?

Could somebody please walk me threw the steps on lowering the front end. Or send me a link to directions on how to do it. I am getting the lowering link for the rear and would like to drop the front a little bit.

Thanks

You'll need something to support the front end while the tripple clamps are loose. If you're doing it in a garage with open rafters, I'd use a tie down around the tripple tree and around a rafter.

- Loosen the bolts on the tripple clamps.
- Adjust the forks to the desired height (make sure both forks are the same height above the tree)
- Tighten the clamp bolts to the proper torque specs.

Dropping the front end too much can result in adverse handling characteristics. I personally wouldn't go any more than 15mm but you're best to check with someone who knows more about it, just to be safe. Another consideration is lowering it can cause the front fender to make contact with the upper fairing under hard braking or by going over large bumps.
