| Re: Curious..... I have an 03 600RR and rode a friends 06, I was surpised how much of a difference there was (in a good way). I wanted to sell my 03 and go get an 06. But, I had just paid off the 03 and did not want another payment to deal with. |

| Re: Curious..... I read an article in Cycle World or MC recently and it had a lot of good things to say about the '07 RR and I thought it looked pretty good. Then I decided to do a little checking on the competition to see what they had to say. I'm no Yamaha fan and think they are kinda goofy looking but the R6 comes standard with high and low speed damping both front and rear, slipper clutch, quick disconnect rear section, and a lot of other pretty trick features for no more money than an RR. I'm not sure if it will add up to more on track performance but the slipper clutch alone is enough to make me look twice. I'm surprised that Honda isn't keeping pace a little better on the gadgetry. Anyone have any thoughts on this? Not trying to start something, just wondering how Yamaha can offer so many extras.

| Re: Curious..... I have had the unbelievable luck to ride one of the 07's mind you not much just around the parking lot around the warehouse that they get assembled at with the company I work for. But WOW what an awesome bike especially for a 6. It has so much power! I still however do agree with slick on the Yamaha options very nice for the same price as the Honda. Both bikes are incredible. But Im sticking with Honda on this one. |
