newb question

Hello everyone

I just bought a 91 cbr600 and well....I can't seem to be able to figure out how the seat comes off. My old Ninja had a keylock, but I don't see one on this bike.

I've had it in storage for the last month due to the cold weather, I went to start it yesterday and I drained the battery. I'm not even sure if the access to the battery is under the seat.

I would just call the dealer but the long distance service is down at work right now.

Thanks Tony

Re: newb question

Try looking for allen-key bolts under the side of the seat.

Re: newb question

Thanks guys.

Didn't mean to sound like a total newb, I put about 40k on my old Ninja before dumping it down going to work one day. Bike wasn't too bad, broken clip-on, footpeg, clutch lever. I got home about a week later from work one day and the wife had sold it, said she thought it was totalled.

Fast forward 12 years, NEW wife says "hey, you got a nice refund, instead of blowing your money on the usual stuff you should buy yourself something". Sweet, that's all I needed to hear.

Re: newb question

I figured as much but didn't want him to look under the sides not see them and get frustrated.
