| CBR F4 Help!~! I bought a new cbr 600 f4 1999, it has a lowering link in the rear and the front has been dropped as well. I want to raise it back to stock and cant find a link for the rear, so I found an 2004 F4i rod sub-assy, on ebay. Part no. 52475-MAS-E00. Hopefully this will work for me still even though its an F4i, and an 04. Does anyone know for sure if it will fit or not. The dealer said maybe but they are not sure. How can I tell??? Anything will help. Plus is there anything on here about a DYI on replacing that link? Thanks for reading this.
Also I am riding on a 180/55/17 rear wheel right now is that to wide? |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! Wow. I would see if you can get online and get measurements on both parts to see how close they are, thats pretty much the only way you are going to know for sure. |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! Yeah I cant find anywhere that has that information on measurments on those parts. DO you know where I could find them? Most listings for this part for each bike is under f4 not f4i ...could this mean that it will fit? |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! that alone won't mean anything (f4 Vs F4i) some sights just have it listed wrong. Go to bikebandit.com look at the part # for both years, are they the same or different? if diff then I would be vary wary |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! That site has it marked wrong as well. But the 2004 rod sub-assy is the same as the 1999 in a F4 model. Is there anywhere that has it marked right for F4 and F4i??? Something that will show pictures for comparison. Or measurements. |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! That sight didn't show you a picture of the part (doesn't normally give measurements but will give a pic and the part #).
Yeah I know it has them marked wrong (F4 and F4i) up until a certain year but it doesn't really matter as long as you have the correct years picked then it will show the correct parts. |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! Well in that case they were the same. So I hope I have the same thing coming. What would be a good way to hoist the back end of the bike up to get that piece out of there? Do you know if there is a DIY on here for suspension? Or should I just have the shop do it or get the manual to do it myself? |

| Re: CBR F4 Help!~! Get a hold of the manual and you should be able to get it done yourself. As far as holding up the back..... you'll have to get inventive. |
