Re: F2 as a starter bike?

I dont know why they dont come with " L" plates as standard. The steel framed F2 is probley one of the best bikes ever. My wife keeps stealing mine, or should that be "ours" !!!
Go buy one.

Short answer, smaller to start is better, will help you gain skill, I think a 600 is fine its what I started on and still ride

Re: F2 as a starter bike?

My first sportbike (not first bike over all) was a 1992 F2. Man I loved that bike!! Everytime I see one on ebay I have to use restraint not to bid on it.

I just bought a F2 before the winter as a starter bike. So far things are going great.

Re: F2 as a starter bike?

Thanks, those were definitely the answers I wanted to hear. It is a sporty looking bike, and I just can't stand not to have a Honda. Although, a suzuki sv650s might be a good learning bike it is still a suzuki. I love Honda's. Like my 1986 Honda xr250, it runs just as good as new, and it seems like their is no wear on the engine at all, just other components as brakes and tires. Thanks, I knew HondaGalToo would remember me and say something of the sore. Thanks again
