Rear Brake adjustment on the pedal?????

CBR600 FV '97 F3 The brake pedal is a pain that I can't quite bend my ankle enough without lifting my foot off the peg a little to get to it. Unlike the gear level which is perfectly placed.
Is there any way this can be adjusted without wrecking it?? I can see what appears to be a threaded bolt/bar going into the master cylinder (I think) and possibly some kind of locking nut. I need to move the pedal down a little.

Can this be done??? And how?

Thanks in advance for any info.

Grrr

Re: Rear Brake adjustment on the pedal?????

the easy way is to take the foot plate hanger off and undo the 12mm lock nut and adjust it with the 10mm. I did it the fidely way with everything still bolted on and it wasnt that difficult, no blood, swearing or plasters.
good luck

Weve got some fantastic roads to play on and the old bill dont come out to spoil the fun very often.
