| Re: Bank angle sensor Why? If you need to (for whatever reason) you can just add a jumper wire to the two outside wires. But I would not recommend doing this unless it's not working properly. It's only there for safety and has absolutely zero negative results. Just my .02 |

| Re: Bank angle sensor I'm trying to test the motor. I crashed it a while back and want to start it without the bank angle sensor. I'm hoping to bypass it so I can see how well she turns over and if I suffered any engine damage. I'm open to any other suggestions. |

| Re: Bank angle sensor then he gave you the only suggestion that you need, you'll have to jumper the wires in order to bypass it. |

Another reason to bypass is the angle sensor wont let the bike run in a steep wheelie .
But ya like they said above just tie the 2 outside wires together at the sensor i think they are red/green. If your testing it w/ no frontend at all you have to jump them at the harness just stick a wire int he connectors on the harness to check it. |

| Re: Bank angle sensor ya do you have the wires come out of the harness that go to it? if so just tie them together. If not located the red/green wires on the main harness near the forks and run a jumper wire right in the harness connector, just make sure each end of the wire is bare and touching metal. that way you wont have to cut and hack your main harness |

| Re: Bank angle sensor ya i ran my f4i w/out a headlight for awhile after i crashed it and i had to jump the sensor at the main harness. Jump the wires, make sure all your fuses are good, turn the key and kill switch on and you should hear the pump prime. If the pump doesnt prime something still isnt right.
The pump wont prime if you switch isnt jumped so make sure you jump it and have good connection. From the sounds of it you went down pretty good so i'd check over the hanress for bare and or broken wires before starting it so you dont short anything out.
Good luck |

| Re: Bank angle sensor Thanks for all the help guys. I'm sure I'll be back with more questions. Yeah I did go down pretty hard. I Broke back and fractured my scapula. I was down for about a year. I'm ready to get the CBR back up and running. I picked up a 85 GPZ 750 to just to get back out there. It was cheaper than fixing the CBR. Summer is just around the corner so i'm looking foward to the honda once again. |
