| 02 cbr600F4i won't star I was riding 2 days ago just fine, it was raining, and suddenly stopped running and there was no power at all. I checked the fuses and the fuse blade (30A) was blown, I changed but was blown rightaway, did that twice. the starter and battery are fine, I just put a new regulator last fall. any ideas what could be the problem? thanks for your help. |

| Re: 02 cbr600F4i won't star Remove a few fairings and go through the wiring sounds like you have a bare wire touching metal somewhere in the harness.
Good luck w/ it let us know what you find. |

| Re: 02 cbr600F4i won't star Hili sounds like he is on to something. There is probably something grounding in the circuit and blowing the fuse. shouldn't be to hard to track down. good luck. |

| Re: 02 cbr600F4i won't star Hi guys, thank you for your help. it has been raining in MA the past week so I couldn't open the fairings. well, I did what you guys suggested yesterday, but all the wires looked fine to me, couldn't find any bare wire or a fried one. I really don't know what the problem is. |

| Re: 02 cbr600F4i won't star Hi there, so I took the bike to service and they told me that the regulator rectifier is cooked, the thing is I just replaced it last fall and they don't know what could have possibly caused that in such a short period of time. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem and what could cause the RR to be damaged like that. I appreciate any feed back. thanks. |

| Re: 02 cbr600F4i won't star I have heard if your stator is on its way out it can cook the R/R |
