I have a 01 cbr 600 f4i and it is currently silver and black which looks ok but it doesn't just jump out or stand out when around other bikes so i've decided to paint it. I want to go with a orange because there are not many f4i's in orange plus i think the black wings look good in orange but the problem is i can't find the right color orange, i want something with some pearl in it i think. I found the code for the orange that the 06 600rr are painted in but no paint shop can seem to find or mix the color. Does anyone have any suggestions on what color orange i should go if so please help me out. If you know where i can see the color or have the color code that would really be helpful also thanks.

sorry i don't have any pics of the bike it is just your average f4i in silver and black just like it comes stock except i have crome rims other than that stock silver and black f4i

go to color-rite.com they specialize in factory paint colors. They will be able to help you out if you really want that orange pearl that the 600rr's have.

most places that mix paint, wont even try to match motorcycle colors
cause there computer programs dont give good listings on there codes and what not, but you should probably just go to the paint store, and find there color chips, and find one like you want,

if your painting the bike all over, no decals (except for black ones), then you really dont have to worry about painting it a factory color just whatever you want.

and pearl will be high as hell,

probably like 250.00 or more just for a quart of base

Check alsacorp.com they have some amazing paint even chrome paint that looks awesome. They have glow in the dark and a bunch of other, tempature changing, I can't think of them all. Everyone should look at this site. There products are absolutely amazing.

Take a look in my gallery, you'll see what the F4i looks like when orange since well mine is orange (looks kind of yellow when the sun hits it just right) with chrome stickers to really stand out, smoked windscreen, carbon fiber gas cover, tank protector and mirrors.

My old F4 was ferrari yellow and black. Looked like a creamy orange to me. You can get the paint codes for it on many sites. It was the 99 model.
