Good Exhaust?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me is this exhaust is worth bidding on.
Should the pipe be gold like that?

Re: Good Exhaust?

The discoloration is typical with stainless and can be cleaned with metal polish like Simichrome. The black rubber/plastic goo that's melted on there from the previous owner's boot may be permanent though...

Re: Good Exhaust?

So it sounds like all normal wear. In one of the pictures it looks like a hole, I haven't messed with bikes much so I wasnt sure if it was an O2 sensor or something.

Re: Good Exhaust?

looks like normal wear on it but I dont think you are going to be able to get that black junk off of it..

And yes it looks like there is a hole for say a O2 sensor but I dont remember having to deal with one on my 01. I would double check with the seller on that.
