| Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) Heya, long time no posting here. Well, I am looking to buy an 06 Honda CBR600RR and my friend is looking to buy a 06 Suzuki GSXR600. For the longest time, (and i still do), i believed that the CBR600rr was indeed more reliable, comfortable-- just all around better bike than the GSXR600 but I have been searching around a bit and it seems like the GSXR600 seems to be the more popular one. I originally views the GSXR600 as the "Ak-47s" of motorcycles-- mass produced and lacking character, unlike Honda bikes-- but now Im a little unsure. Any tips? I love Hondas like none other but I dont know what to do ><. |

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) As for the comfort, I sat on both when I was dreamin about bikes and found the Sosucky ( Suzuki ) more comfortable. But you cant beat a Honda in my eyes. I guess they have more cushin in the seat for those that want to take their time getting where they want to go, with honda, well theres no takeing your time, you just get there and feel good doin it! |

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) I'm a Suzuki guy and I'd buy the 07 CBR 600rr over both the 06 CBR and 06-07 Gixxer6. No question! Or get the GSX-R750 and whoop em all. |

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) My friend just bought a 04 gsxr 600. It is a pretty nice bike, but i just like the reliability of my honda. It may be that i am just biased, i have owned two different honda's now and enjoyed both of them. I really am a big fan of the new ZX10's...that may be the only thing that would pull me away from honda. |

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) Suzuki's are made to go fast for a short period of time IMO. They are mass produced and sold cheap, and they have no personality. Also your stuck with those ugly front rear view mirrors because the intergrated turn signals.
Honda makes a nice bike...
Its all what you want. Myself, I wont buy a suzuki, or kawi, its only Honda and Yamaha for me. Much better products and quality |

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) i would go with the honda. i just sold my 2004 cbr600f4i and bought a 2007 cbr600rr which i am dieing to ride, but have to wait another couple weeks because two weeks ago i had a bilateral hernia surgery. it is killing me to say the least. i did let my youngest son (age 24) take it out for a spin and he has a 2005 gsxr600 and when he came back he said it was awesome, even though he had to drive it conservatively because of the break-in period. he also said he loves the styling. my oldest son (age 30) has a 2003 cbr600f4i and loves that bike. i have always been a fan of honda because of the quality of their products and will probably remain one for a long time to come. i think you will be happier with the honda.
good luck with your decision.

Not enough HP to get the job done. And I do not do Power Wheelies, 12 o'clocks baby. Quote:

They are mass produced and sold cheap, and they have no personality. Are you planning on riding this bike or planning to marry it?
Also your stuck with those ugly front rear view mirrors because the intergrated turn signals. I take that **** off of there. No need to worry where you have been, just look where you are going.

| Re: Mixed Reviews (CBR600RR vs GSXR600) Hey guys, just wanted give my .02
As we all know Honda is very reliable (duh) but what about the other brands? Did eveyone ride every other bike out there to know for sure that honda is the best choice or are we just buying the bike cause everyone claims its better than the other? I been called a honda whore time after time but I dont hate on the brands either, I currently have the following vehicles.
1) 00 Honda Civic Si
2) Honda S2k
3) 06 1k
I had a bunch of other hondas bikes/cars but when it comes down to it, you have to know what kinda machince you want for yourself. My friends ride their gsxr and dont complain and looks ok too. If you're still unsure why not read some reviews from cycle world or something. That should help ehh?
PS. Honda hasnt screwed me over yet so until then |

(most of the comments pertaining to Susuki's being ugly, and cheaply made...) |
