| Carbon flecks coming out of exhaust? I have noticed when I start my bike that if I put my hand behind the exhaust (was showing the kids how hot air comes out so don't touch) that I will get little black specs thrown onto my hand. Once they are on I can't just wipe them off so I don't think its oil and my only other guess is carbon. Anyone have any ideas as to what this could be? I'm going to try to upload a video of it to show exactly whats going on. No mods to the engine, only slip on RT One exhaust. Any ideas on what to do to stop this |

| Re: Carbon flecks coming out of exhaust? Also this only happens for a max of about 30 seconds, after that nothing comes out anymore. |

93. Could it have been from babying the bike then running the hell out of it this past weekend. I have heard the expression blow the carbon out of it.. but I didn't think it was actually something that could be done. |

| Re: Carbon flecks coming out of exhaust? Most likely it's carbon flaking off from the inside of the exhaust system...wouldn't worry about it.
