I have a 1997 cbr 600f3. It runs ok on a fully charged battery for 2 or 3 days, after that it stalls out and wont start again with the start button. It will start when i run it down the road and drop it into 2nd gear, but doesnt stay running for more than a minute. I put a new battery in it, but it does the same after 2 days. When i charge the battery for 10 minutes, it fires up again. Could it be the charging system?

sounds like you have either a bad stator or Reg/ Rec, or both are bad....in other words the alternator isn't charging the battery

Thats what i thought. One question which i havnt noticed because i just bought it last year and had no problems, but do you know if its fuel injected. I ididnt notice a carb, but im not home now. This would explain it just cutting out.

Check the voltage across the battery with the ignition off.It should be 12+.
Check it with the engine running and 3500 rpm.It should be 13.5 or so.
If it is 12 volts or less then I would change the reg/rec.
I would not expect the stator to fail.
