2006 CBR 600 F4i headlight??

Hi all,

I am a newbie so please bear with me. I have a quick question about the headlights on the 06 CRB600 F4i. When the ignition is on and the switch is set on low beam, only the left light is on. When the switch is set on high beam then both lights come on. Is this the case? Can both light be on at low beam setting?

If you do a seach on the board you should be able to find some post about how people put in H4 bulbs and rewired the head lights so that you have 2 low beams and 2 high beams. You could always lower the high beam and just run with them on all the time.

I run with the high beam on a lot since I rather be seen then not.

I've searched and can't find it, can anyone direct me to the thread detailing how to wire up the bike for dual low and dual high beams.

One thing you will note, both Low Beam and High Beam use the same bulb. It is the reflector behind the bulb that is shaped different to give you the Low or High beam. At least this is the case on my "05" F4i.
