| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f I have a D&D slip on. It sounds good and still has the right mixture of flow through and back press. Another recomendation would be a Two Bros. I've heard good things about them. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f I recently put a Two bro's M-5 slip-on on my 06 F4i. Two bro's makes beautiful cans, especially the carbon fiber ones. The pitch isnt too high on it, but it has a perfect ring to it.. and looks awesome to boot! |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f i wouldn't touch the d&d's. heard they are too loud. the two bros is supposed to be good. i run a yoshimura RS-3 on mine. has a great tone. not too loud. and looks great in the carbon fiber. heard good things about the erion and micron. there was a link on the sport rider website that had a bunch sound samples of different exhuasts. go to their home page and type in exhuast in the search. good luck. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f The D&D sound mellow (a little loud for idle) and really mean when you get on it, but I still prefer the 2 Bros. I am partial mainly because thats what Im running, Full 2 Bros polished stainless with carbon fiber can and it has just the right sound I want. Not a major attention getter, but when I want it, I get it... Good luck on your choice. It all comes down to hearing and seeing what others are running, and then picking the one that just grabs you and makes you want it... |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f Blue flame evo can, it has two removable baffles so you can tune the exhaust note to how loud you want it and it does note need rejetting or mapping. Also on a test that one of the bike mag's did in the UK blue flame got a 5 star because it got the most power without the need of rejetting or mapping.
It sounds the mutts without any baffles if to loud as the baffles are different sizes you can tune the note to 3 different notes. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f are any changes reuired to the ECU once end cans are awapped out on the f4i's. more specifically, does one need something like a power commander to retune the motor to the new end an or does a simple swap without changes safe for the engine? |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f It depends on the exhaust that you fit most cans do not req, a chip/power comander. If you fit a complete system then there is a good possability. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f I ran the 2 bros full system and I only had to instal a Vance & Hines ignition advancer... But Im running a 93 F2 motor and F3 carbs w/ jet kit and ram air from a 97... I dont know what you might need to do with other engine setups. Best bet is to ask a tech. Any knowledgeable tech would know what you would need for optimum performance after installing a full exhaust system. Or Im sure this will catch someones eyes who's already done the upgrade and can tell you whats needed. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f I have an arrows slip on on my CBR600FS-2 - it really does sound terrific, and has the removable baffle for yearly roadworthy tests / going stealth-mode on commuting runs. Sounds better than the Akropovic did on my 2004 R6, that used to backfire a LOT, the arrows on my CBR doesn't backfire at all. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f No power commander on my bike... I bought it with the exhaust already fitted, but I'm 99% sure there's no engine or ignition mods. |

| Re: Can someone reccomend an exhaust for CBR 600f I have an Akrapovic on my '01 F4i and think it sounds awesome!
My bike came with both the PC and Akrapovic on it. I come from a car background where an ECU upgrade isnt need for an exhaust mod. Are the exhausts so free-flowing that the motor's VE changes that much?
Does the PC just add more fuel?
Thanks. |
