Re: WHAT YEARS TRACK FAIRINGS FIT MY 91 F2??

You can use a stock F4i front fairing by adapting the stock F4i stay(s) to the fram using offset plates quite easily. The F4i sides fit almost perfectly and only require a small amount of trimming here and there. The tail is easiest if the cut the frame where the two bars meet thus losing weight and not reducing strength. I used plates which bolt to the stock seat mounts and provide the tail mounts for a solo tail and use a stock F4i undertail. The cost is a lot less than you'll pay for the old looking F2 stuff and you cn feel the difference in aerodynamics at speed. You will want to add side plates under the tank, in front of the tail to block hot air flow from the engine, it will burn the backs of your knees if you dont.

For the second post, my DynoJet Kit was the single biggest performance gain over stock of any other add-on. Also, going -1 on the front sprocket helsp to wake this bike up too.

Re: WHAT YEARS TRACK FAIRINGS FIT MY 91 F2??

The single biggest improvement I made was in the head. I did a clean up porting job. Easy to find info about this process, but the jest is I cleaned up the casting marks in the intake and exhaust tracks. After that I did a 3 angle valve seat job discribed in the clymer manual. There is hiden power there for small fee, a dremel, and a couple hours....Speed Safe. WIll

+1 for intake port cleanup! Mine had some bad casting marks and even some residual chunks. Cleanup, light pocket porting and a valve job will get you a little on the top end. If your valves are in good condition though you wont see too much of a gain.
