| Tonights Project - New Galfer SS I'm going to have a hard time studying today. My lines finally showed up late last night.
This is the first official mod. Not one bolt on my bike isn't stock.

| Re: Tonights Project - New Galfer SS The finish on these is excellent. They look absolutely top notch. I'm going to leave the stock pads in for now so that I have a direct comparison of the improvement over the stock lines. I also sprung for the double banjo bleeder bolt which looks a little goofy but if it works as promised then should be worth it.

| Re: Tonights Project - New Galfer SS Installed the rear line last night. Didn't have a lot of time and didn't want it to be a rush job so I decided to start with the rear. It looks great. It is a little longer than the stock line which left some annoying excess. My garage is kind of dark and I only have a cell phone camera so the pics are terrible.

| Re: Tonights Project - New Galfer SS in the last pic where you have the line mounted on the rear master it looks like its not touching the tab on the m.c...You should move the line so when you are tighting the banjo the piece sticking up from the master hold is in place, and will prevent it from damage or bending. Does that make any sense?? |

| Re: Tonights Project - New Galfer SS Makes total sense but the line has so much extra length that there isn't any good way of getting it to line up like that. Also since the goal of the tab is to stop it from rotating any more when you tighten down the banjo it should be 180 degrees from where it is. So that it twists the right way when you tighten it down. So instead of the fitting going away from the camera it would be coming right toward it. That's how the stock one was in there. In the case of this line if I did that it puts the rest of the line sticking straight out into the side of your foot. I'll probably mess around with it a bit more to see if I can make something work out better. I put the front lines on this morning and everything worked out much better. The improvement is amazing. Just had one short ride to come here to school but WOW. I'll give more details later.
