The owner's manual should have the procedure. Not much to it. Remove the lowers, drain the oil, change the filter, fill with new oil.

Here are some more sources:

How to change your oil without removing the fairings... - 600RR.net, but I suggest removing fairings. Remove the lowers as one piece and the right mid-fairing and that will give you plenty of room and allow you to check your coolant over flow bottle too.

Changed Oil could not get filter off !!!!????? - 600RR.net

Re: How do I change the oil in my 2006 CBR 600RR?

One tip for the future. Buy the factory filter wrench. $9 and makes for easy on and easy off. Bonus for me that it fits the filters on both of my Nissan's perfectly. I've always changed the oil on every vehicle that I've owned since I first started driving/riding. I have always gone with the "contact plus 3/4 turn" rule that most filters say. Inevitably I always end up with a filter stuck on. The wrench makes sure that I can always get it off and allows me to use a torque wrench when I put it on so I know it is tightened perfectly.
