Re: f4 wont fire at all

I ran into a similar problem on my 900rr. It was a problem with the wire running from the ignition switch to the CDI. Some kind of theft deterrent. I had to run a new wire, but without it, the CDI would not send a signal to the coils to fire.

If that wire appears to be fine, you should pull the plugs and check them. If they are dirty or wet look, replace them and try again.

Re: f4 wont fire at all

I've got a 2001 f4i and i had a similar problem right after i bough it. It ran perfectly and then just wouldnt start. apparently i fouled up the spark plugs by starting it up while it was cold outside and not letting the bike warm up. i replaced the spark plugs and it started right up
