Full Yoshimura exhaust

I just bought a full yoshimura rs5 exhaust for my 07 cbr600, how hard is it to install the exhaust? I dont wanna go to a shop because i've made a few phone calls and the charge to install at the places i called were $200 or more. So if i could get some tips and advice on installing it I would really appreciate it alot.

Re: Full Yoshimura exhaust

Order some new exhaust gaskets so you don't get any leaks. Make sure you have a torque wrench to tighten all nuts with the appropriate foot-pounds.
That's about it!

Re: Full Yoshimura exhaust

It is pretty straight forward, just make sure you give yourself plenty of time and do not rush anything. And get those gaskets that Copernikus was talking about.

Re: Full Yoshimura exhaust

This is the exhaust valve. Its not a sensor. Just a flap. If you are installing a full system it will have to go(unless there is provision for it on the new system which is unlikelly).

If it needs to be removed, try not to damage the cables that connect to it, as they need to move freelly regardless. They are operated by a step motor under your tank, that needs to be pluged in and working, else it throws an error code in the ECU.

Don't worry about removing the flap, just tidy the cables out of harms way and you are ok.

Re: Full Yoshimura exhaust

Can anyone confirm that the bike will throw code 34? Anyone know how to disable it?
