Re: HURRICANE REBORN (category 5)

Honda929, you've inspired me! I have the same bike sitting in my garage right now in the process of being reborn from three wrecks (two from previous owners and one from my knucklehead step son). I've got all the tough body work done and have start some of the paint work. Can't answer your question, but's it great seeing your pics; keep us informed of your progress as time goes on.

Good luck with the build up my friend!

BTW, Check that Caps Lock...

Re: HURRICANE REBORN (category 5)

Hey Mikedom86, I am thinking of putting 2007 cbr1000 body work on the 600 because the side plastice on the 1000 is more open to show my polished cases.I seen the a cbr 1000 hurricane with a single side swing arm and underseat exhaust and was set up as a naked bike and it looked cool ass.The the web sitei think i seen the bike was cbr xstream (the spelling might be wrong). As far a my bike its together minus the plastic but i cant start the darn thing because of carb issues, i will post some update picks when i get a chance.

Re: HURRICANE REBORN (category 5)

Nice project!

My best friend graduated from his learner EX500 to an 1988 Hurricane 600. He bought it with 45K miles and it ran like a champ until he sold it 20K miles later. First sportbike I ever rode.

This bike is a new classic and I'm glad to see some still in good condition. I'm sorry I don't have any info on mounting the newer bodywork but good luck with the project. Make sure you give an update when its done.
