| i need help with fi problem hi bikers. first thing: sorry for my bad english. i had a problem with the valvules of mi bike(cbr 600rr 2004), the mechanic fixed it, but when hi finished and started the engine there was not sound from the injector, then fi and oil light were lightining (fi for 7 times) and when i acelerate it shuts down. my mechanic is as stupid as me fixing bikes, the problem is that i live in a small island in spain where they dont even have tester machine for bikes, even in honda official spain there is nor mechanic for bikes. could anyone help me, what can i do, is it a big problem? sorry for being so ignorant . thanks  | |

| Re: i need help with fi problem Not sure about an '04 600RR, but fault code 7 might be the ECT (Engine Coolant Temperature) sensor or connection. Locate the connection and check for loose fit. |

SORRY I JUST DONT KNOW THE WORDS IN ENGLISH. THE PROBLEM IS THAT MY FRIENDS, MY GOOD FRIENDS OF HONDA MOTOR IN SPAIN, DONT SELL THE PIECE, THEY SELL THE COMPLETE INJECTION SYSTEM :-( AND IT COSTS 1.500€... BUT I FOUND ALL NEW ENGINES EVEN OF CARS HAVE TPS OR TSP WHATEVER.... AND I ALSO REALIZED HORNET 600 2006´S HAS A TPS (TSP) TOO!!!!!! AND IT SEEMS LIKE IT WORKS IN MY CBR. MY QUESTION IS: 1) IS IT TRUE THAT HORNET 600 2006´S ONE COULD WORK IN MY BIKE. 2) COULD I GET THAT PIECE FROM THE ENGINE OF A CRASHED CAR??? PLEASE HELP ME.... I´VE BEEN 3 MONTHS WITHOUT RIDING MY BIKE.... |

| Re: i need help with fi problem You are correct, THEY SHOULD!!! But they do not! Fiche Parts You see the TPS on the right side of the throttle bodies. To answer the question about changing it out with a Hornet, you would need to read the resistance on a GOOD 600RR TPS all the way up the scale. Then check out a hornet TPS to see if it parallells the RR TPS. Then if the plugs are the same, I'd say it would work.
