| break upgrade can anybody tell me of a better set of calipers that are a straight swap on my f3 than the standard ones , as ive now a break problem now ive finished the 893 conversion. would like to use honda parts if possible. thanks marc | |

| Re: break upgrade I wouldn't think that you would need new calipers. the F3 brakes were all good. You may want to check into different master cylinders and brake pads. Change the fluid also, that gives a jump in performance. Also get you some steel lines. You can swap calipers all day long and still end up with shyt performance if the fluid is no good and the pads are shyt. Im thinkin that your rotors may also be quite old. You can look into some galfer rotos (theres more than just galfer i just know they are all good though from exp.) |

| Re: break upgrade I think you would get more gain from some new rotors (galfer wave), SS lines, and a brembo 19x18 MC. Basically agreeing with rokitt.

| Re: break upgrade Do you have pics of the conversion? I'd love to see them. Since you've gone as far as making it a liter bike, I'd seriously consider getting top notch brakes. Maybe a set of 929 brakes would fit? I don't know. But you might want to look into buying a used set of Brembos and a Brembo MC.
