IDEAS ON RELOCATING LIC. PLATE

I bought my 1st bike 6 months ago a 07 600rr. Been making a few minor adjustments since i got it. I lowered it 3 inches and cant wait to get the stock light and plate holder off the back but my f/e kit wont work with it lowered, trying to ge some advise or pics of where else i can put my plate and insp. sticker w/o buying expensive chain gaurds with license plate holders???

Well lowering it 3 inches and you'll be dragging the whole fairing. May i ask how tall you are? If ur tall enough to touch the ground with the bike at full height, then i would raise it back up if you plan on hittin the track and draggin a knee. Most f/e (i got it now) kits would allow for the LP to still be placed close to the stock location even if lowered. checkk this one out from 1tail.

Re: IDEAS ON RELOCATING LIC. PLATE

I am about 5'7 and can flat foot it at stock height, mainly lowered it for looks since there arent really any real good tracks to ride on that is close to me. My main reson for buying the bike was for street riding and back and forth to work. Still cant talk the wife into the track anyways. seems like i saw that same f/e kit on e-bay but went back to order one several weeks later and found one that is close but mounts too far back under the seat.-- thanks for the site, I may do some more checking into that kit.. in fact that is the same color and year of my bike on that sight.
