Quick question about F4 dashboard(clocks)

Hi, i have a question about F4 clocks. I am in doubts. When you switch ignition on is rpm gauge must go maximum then go minimum? Or it happening when you switch ignition on and then switching RUN on ?
Or it is not happening at all?
The problem is that i am suspecting my cdi is burned, i have no spark and rpm gauge is not moving. ive saw that F4i rpm is moving always when you hit ignition on.
please reply, dear F4 owners.
