Grinding sound when clutch is disengaged

I noticed a problem lately when my bike is in neutral. When the clutch is disengaged and the bike is in neutral theres a grinding sound that is very noticeable. I don't know if it's the clutch itself or what? any input would be helpful!

Re: Grinding sound when clutch is disengaged

have you done any work on the bike or any mods lately?

perhaps the clutch lever needs a little bit of adjusting to get it just right.

or if you recently changed the clutch or changed the oil, you may need to put a couple miles on it to get the oil circulating throughout the bike again.

i'm no mechanic, so i could be totally wrong. just post if you've done anything to or changed anything on the bike lately before this started.

Sounds like the clutch bearings are bad. And they are cheap.
