Slow Idling + FI Ligt

My FI light is blinking twice then there is a pause and then blinks two more times. It continoulsly does this and my idle speed is very low. I have tried adjusting my idle speed and it will come up if i turn the knob just about as far as it will go but the FI light continues to blink. I'm thinking a fuel filter. What do yall think?

If you do think its the fuel filter could you tell me where it is located.

Re: Slow Idling + FI Ligt

The manual says its showing a code 2, which is a loose or poor connection of the MAP senor vacuum hose, or a faulty MAP sensor. The engine should operate normally while riding and everything. The MAP sensor is located on the bottom of the air cleaner housing, at the right side. (if your sitting on the bike) I would suggest checking that all the vacuum hoses r connected correctly, and then, if so test the sensor.
