Looking at a 2002 F4i that was damaged - thoughts?

I am looking at a 2002 F4i that was flipped by the previous owner. It has 8k miles and he's asking 2300/best offer. Here is what I've determined it needs:

- rear tail
- front fascia with headlight and instrument cluster
- right side rear footpeg/exhaust bracket
- battery
- front lower plastics on both sides

He says that he had it checked out by a local shop that said the frame was straight.

What do you guys think about it? Is it even worth checking out in person?

I'm just looking for an inexpensive sport bike to play with over the summer so the looks part isn't that big of a deal for me.
