Sidemarker help-electrical.

I bought new flushmount sidemarkers for my 96 f3. Stock has 3 wires, new blinkers have 2 (black , black/white)I got the left side done, but when I went to do the right side, it stayed on constant, i flipped it to signal and it blew the fuse. Switched the black wire to the red, and it did the same. What actual colors go to these wires? They are butt connected to some blue or greenish wires, on the right side. If you know which one is which that wold help get me on the road! thanks.

Re: Sidemarker help-electrical.

Well, I figured it out on my own. Previous owner had butt connected different colored wires on each side. But, To anyone else who encounters this and doesn't want the blinkers to be constantly on. All you will need is the Orange/white wire and the green wire on the left side, and the blue/white wire and the green wire on the right. No constant running light, blinkers only!
