Fuel choice and low rpm city riding

Hi,
Does anybody have any advice on how best to drive a CBR 600f3 to keep it running well? Does it really matter on the older bikes? is 95 or 98 octane gas better? How much high rpm riding do you do (e.g. prevent carbon buildup)? After buying my bike not too long ago I never seem to have enough time to riding for fun and I end up only communting in dense city where i can barely get out of 2nd gear on my 3 mile way to work.
Thanks a lot,
Luke

find time to put some high rpm running to it... not sure what octane you have over seas, but typically in the states we have 93 octane as the highest rating at regular gas stations.. definitely no lower than 91 should be sufficient enough..

Thanks Idavis. Living here overseas i forgot about octane difference. But i remember when I lived in Florida some of my friends were buying 104 octane for their cars, but it was hard to find.

Anyways, there was a guy on another thread that was thinking that his short 4 minutes daily commute caused carbon deposit that made his 600rr die.
