i got a 1997 cbr f3 i throwed number 4 rod i had a f2 built for it it starts and and idles fine you can rap it out it hit the revlimiter it is fine but when u run down the road it acts like it runs out of gas i kill it check the carbs the bowles it still has gas let it idel and it will take off and run fine untill it u get in 3rd or 4th gear and it falls on its face again i put a new fuel pump on it thinking it did not have enough pressure had the carb cleaned cleaned the fuel felter it has me puzzled thought it migght be the coils

Check your Coils , and also make sure that you dint cross them when you put them back onto the Pulgs .. I got my cbr f3 last spring and the guy who owned it b4 me crossed the plugs wires , it was toping out in 4 @ 110 and backing down from that speed in 5th and 6th . good luck
