| Will Not Start Hello Everyone,
Recently purchased a 2005 600RR at Auction and I am having trouble getting it started and it will also not go into neutral. It was a theft recovery bike but the ignigtion is still intack and the bike looks to be in perfect condition.
When I turn on the key everything lights up and odometer and everthing is intact but unfortuantly when I go to turn it over nothing happens. It almost seems like the kickstand is down. In addition I can engage the cluctch to move the bike but can not seem to get the bike to shift down into 1st or neutral? Any suggestions. |

| Re: Will Not Start I don't know all the damage but getting neutral is crucial. Also listen when you pull in the clutch lever for the light click sound indicating the micro switch in the clutch is working. Also kill switch and side stand switch must be operable. Battery must be fully charged as well. How much damage are we talking here?

| Re: Will Not Start Those are the only two issues. Other than that the bike seems to be in perfect condition. No damage to any of the body. |

| Re: Will Not Start Is there an easy way I can test the kickstand switch to see if it is working? |

| Re: Will Not Start Sure, get a multimeter and see if the circuit completes when you change the position of the kickstand. |

| Re: Will Not Start Thanks,
I will try that today. I really do not want to bring it to a shop because I am sure they will charge an arm and a leg to troubleshoot. I will let you know how I make out.
