Re: 1998 CBR600 F3 Power Commander Nope, a power commander is for fuel injected bikes. There should be jet kits for your bike if you are interested in tuning it.

Re: 1998 CBR600 F3 Power Commander dynojet kits are availble in stage 1 or stage 3 (track only) for this bike. use k&n air and oil fillters for a boost in power. if your gonna re-jet get them set up on a dyno, do 2 runs, one before and one after the jets have been fitted. for best results in gaining horses use a race exhaust.

Re: 1998 CBR600 F3 Power Commander hi chris. no, it's legal (as far as i know) but not recommended for road use. in other words, reliability would become an issue if the state of engine tune is to high.

Re: 1998 CBR600 F3 Power Commander Yeah I read up on the stage 1. looks like it is designed to work with stock air box and intake. I am assuming it should be good being that I only have upgraded the exhaust

Re: 1998 CBR600 F3 Power Commander A jet kit will do lots for an F3- I have a Vance & Hines PowerPack on mine which replaces the stock ignition module. It has switch settings to change advance curves and modify the rev limiter.... but they are hard to find these days. Keep an eye on the WERA forums for track takeoffs or ebay.
