whats the loudest exhaust?

I currently own a 1996 cbr600f3 and it has a yoshimura exhaust but its not that loud. Does anyone have any suggestions for a louder exhaust?

loudest.....dont have one at all.... but you lose power

I agree with the others.

D&D is the loudest. My ears still hurt thinking about it. I put 8000 miles on my 929 with a D&D and just replaced it with a full system a few days ago. My ears are so much happier!

D&D has been the loudest that I have heard on any bike I've worked on outside of a straight pipe.

if you need it to be loud just open it and take some baffle out, any exhaust can be loud

The yoshimura Rs3 cannister is one of the best for the F3 for performance and still easy on the ears. D&D is loud but not crisp, Vance and Hines is ear splittingly high pitched like a GP and grates on your nerves after a while too. The try-y headers have a lower pitch than the 4 into 1's as well but offer some great bottom end torque.

just get a straight through race exhaust

if you whant a louder ex. get the d&d. but dont modify the existing can it will end up sounding loud but not a good loud it will be the...
laugh at the guy that is all show no go loud.

I had a 748 with the stock end cans that had all teh baffles removed. Was humungously loud... louder than my brothers current 996S with termi's still passed 105db restrictions at a track day though.

Right now I have an arrow rear can on my cbr600FS2 - sounds great, and removable baffle for quiet / loud option. It's not super loud, but beautiful sound, and no backfireing and re-mapping seems not to have been required.

Anyone know how to fix a backfire?

I had 6 inch flames shooting out of my bike when coming off the gas after a impromtu drag race with my buddy.

Just enjoy it! It doesn't do any harm (the combustion is outside the exhaust, not inside) and it looks and sounds hilarious. Not worth spending £300+ to remedy IMHO.

Does it mean that I have too much fuel?
