Idle/bike shutting off problem

I have a 04 cbr600rr with a k&n air filter, pc3, and two brothers m2 slip on exhaust. I just recently put the exhaust on, then my problem started. The bike will idle around 800 and sounds like it's about to die. When I'm riding and about to take a turn, say to pull into a gas station, I put in the clutch to down shift or just to slow down the rpms drop, obviously and then it will cut off on me and I have to either jump start it or crank it to get it going. I re mapped it after I installed the exhaust for a 2 brothers slip on and even tried a stock map. I also just had the battery replaced, because it died on me. Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.

Re: Idle/bike shutting off problem

When you say stock map, do you mean you disconnected the PC3 and ran it without it? Im not 100% sure, but I've heard some peoples PC3 dying on them before (rare cases)

Good luck with finding out your problem

Re: Idle/bike shutting off problem

Hate to bring up a old thread but my 07 600rr has similair symptoms. it is pretty much stock except a 2 bros. carbon slip on and after it is ridden a few miles it idles erratic when i pull in the clutch. it will drop down to 1k rpms and bounce back and forth to 1500 rpm's a few times and then line out. any ideas?
