| 03 F4i in a minivan? So I am looking at purchasing a F4i in the 01-04 range. Specifically I am looking at an 03 and was curious if anyone has had luck transporting one this sized in a minivan. The only thing that looks like it might be an issue is the height. Oh the van would be a 2002 Chrysler town and country sans the seats.
Also if anyone has any general tips or things to look for with these bikes the info is always appreciated.
Thanks in advance! |

| Re: 03 F4i in a minivan? Having seen my recently sold 900RR stuffed into the back of a Tahoe, I can assure you that it will fit in a minivan.
That said, its not something I would want to try. Enterprise rents vans for pretty cheap.

There was a video, maybe on YouTube, a surveillance camera caught a couple of guys stuffing a sportbike in through the side door of a minivan.
The bike was parked on the street just like we do every day. They just waited until there was nobody on the street next to the bike, drove up along side of it, and then the two of them, (maybe there were 3 I forget) just picked it up and muscled the damn thing into the van, and their gone just like that.
I doubt if it took them more than 30 seconds. A lot of good my disk brake lock is going to do if my bike runs into those guys. |

| Re: 03 F4i in a minivan? Yea I actually just saw that. Its just that the van has about a 40 inch clearance and the bike is over that so its gonna have to get tilted. |

The one I was gonna use the van for might not matter anymore anyway. Got beaten to it. Although the guy ahead of me is waiting for loan approval though, the seller is a bit crazy as I had cash for him that day but ah well. The search continues! |
