| 600rr 2004 honda "grips" i changed my grips but i had to pull twist n turn the knobs on the end and i think i may have messed up the throttle side because i can pull it out by hand it wont stick like it did the first and second times i did this.can some one help me diagnose the problem?the left grip is fine but it doesnt spin freely it feels like if i turn enuf times it will unscrew. the throttle side pulls right out . i did notice that there are some cheap plastic stuff that touches the sharp metal pieces parts inside the "thing" that pulls out. the left side the knob just comes off.the throttle side the knob and the long shaft "thing" comes out. i hope this explains it all. pleeeeeese help. |

| Re: 600rr 2004 honda "grips" Are you talking about the bar ends? If you are, they all you need to do is either tighten up the allen keys in the end (if they are OEM) or if worst comes to worst, buy a new set (not that expensive for after market)
Look at the picture, are you talking about the end of the handle bar (on the outside of the grip?)

| Re: 600rr 2004 honda "grips" What happens when you tighten up the allen key/screw on the end? Does it spin or is it catching onto the inner side of the bars?
Try tightening it up a tad more, if its still causing you grief pull it out, check whats broken and replace if needed.
