D&D doesn't fit 2000 Honda CBR 600 F4

I ordered a D&D exhaust for my 2000 Honda CBR F4. It previously had a full akrapovic, and I'm rebuilding it back with stock headers and a D&D mid pipe and can. I'm a little stumped because the part was labeled 962-12B, which appears to be the mid pipe for my bike but it obviously does not fit. The partsfiche pictures and other pictures I've seen have a mid pipe with opposite bends to get around the swingarm. Pictures attached. Am I missing something or is this the wrong mid pipe?

I think I've figured out what the deal is. The stock exhaust headers I was sent are not what the muffler is expecting. They fit fine, but there's a slight difference that makes a big deal at the mid pipe connection. Notice how mine is short, while another picture supposedly of the same exhaust headers has more pipe (with the bend needed).

my 2000 F4 has D&D on it, but it came that way not something I did.

Just from a quick glance at that, what if you turned that pipe around? So the bend was right at the mid pipe, and it directed the entirety of that pipe away from the swing arm? See if that helps. That's all I got until I can look @ mine.

that midpipe really shows how crappy D&D stuff is. why would you take off the nice full Akro system?

maybe you have F4i headers instead of F4 headers.
