Re: CBR 600 vs CBR 900

well there are difference models but the primary difference between a 600 and a 900 is the engine size.

Re: CBR 600 vs CBR 900

The difference is 300 ccs. Actually a few more ccs because the cbr900 has never been 899 or 900ccs. There is a power difference. The better one just depends on your riding style and pref. It doesnt seem as though you know bikes at all. 600 may be the best for you. But then again, everyone is different.

Re: CBR 600 vs CBR 900

Bigger is definitely not always better. It depends what you are looking for and if its a first bike and you have no experience (which it sounds like) you prolly do not want anything bigger than a 600.

Re: CBR 600 vs CBR 900

i have had both my first was a 94 600f2 it was very user friendly easy to handle and a little kick (i used to keep up w/the 900's on the swooping highways). definatley a great first bike. now i own a 93 900rr and it's great,
not quite as comforable as the 600 but for a big bike it pretty comfy. there is a big power difference between the 2. the handelling is a big difference the 600 is more nimble than the 900.
