lowering your f4i

heyy fellow riders. i have an 2001 f4i which is a bit too high for me. i got on my toes when on stand still. i need the bike about one inch lower. does any1 know how to do this or do u recommend me brining it to the shop?? any help guides walkthroughs are links would be greatly appreaciated. thanks!

just get the lowering links. They have them on ebay or anywhere.

they have the dogbone one or the actual two bracket looking ones.

If you can still ride it i would keep it the stock height. Lowering the bike changes its handling characteristics.
