I rode a couple of other f4''s and they seem smooth at those revs. I am really disappointed, and worried something horrible might happens if i don''t take the appropriate action in time.
Any idea as to what might cause this. |
Hiya TMF,
It coulds be a who number of things.
The most obvious that springs to mind is:
1) Check the Fairings etc - If something is loose, or not set right and rubbing/Flapping against frame etc, it can resonate at a particular frequency - eg. at 6K RPM
** I've had this before **
2) If not that - The Carb syncronization needs to be checked.
** I've had this before **
3) If not that - Valve Clearances
I suggest you do (1) and if bike is soundly bolted together - take back to dealers - If they are good - you may get it looked at. If bad Dealer - you will probably need a major service - which will include (2) and (3) - Get this done at a decent workshop!
OTher US guys on this forum may be able to suggest a good shop to go to!
Cheers
Martin
