Questions on 1992 CBR600

I am considering purchasing a 1992 CBR600 F for myself. It looks in very nice shape, runs real well, and appears to have been kept in very good condition. Is there anything I should know about this year or model, specific things to inspect, etc before I pull the trigger on buying this bike? I think I can get the bike for $1800, with 15,000 miles. Does this seem reasonable?

Thanks,
Chris

Chris.
Go back sit on the bike, don't think about the money or what could be wrong or anything else negative. Then if you get the feeling that this is the bike for you BUY IT and enjoy it, Its the Big fella upstairs telling you its ok. If you don't feel right when you sit on it, Say thanks mate but this ones not for me.

Cheers

Phil

Hiya Chris,

15K miles for a 17year old bike??? Not sure how its works in the USA, but you really need to check the mileage - Service book, "MOT"s etc.

$$ No idea - The US market will probably be totally different to the UK.

I suggest taking a mate who is a mechanic with you to look over.

Hope that helps
Cheers
Martin
