| soft 600RR market? Okay, being that the 600RR came out late this year. It would appear that many of *my* dealers locally have a significant stock of 2003 600RRs. I'm talking 8 or more of each color!
Anyone having luck pulling one from a dealer stock at a good discount? I was thinking seriously of a 636, but if I can snag a 600RR, I will. |

| Re: soft 600RR market? I hope that if you got a yellow one you would either paint it or ditch the stock bodywork for race plastic. I like a lot of yellow bikes, but I really don't like the color yellow of the RR.

| Re: soft 600RR market? I am looking for a deal on a 600RR...if you guys hear of one, or want to go in on a group buy, let me know. The best I could get, without really looking too hard is 7900 OTD in TN. They are around mid 6 on ebay for a used one...
Lets go shopping!!!
Color preference would be the red one... |

| Re: soft 600RR market? just called my friend/dealer, $7300 is basically his cost. that said, he is motivated to sell.
additionallly, he said Honda seems to be going down the same road with the 1000rr. the dealership has not even been given the chance to order their 1000rr's. they do not know their allotment or pricing. he is not happy. especially when you consider how many 600rr he has in stock.
doesn't look good.
maybe i'll just get another 600rr in spring, a leftover 03' for less than cost. |

| Re: soft 600RR market? Like I've said the 600rr is a turd. Nobody (actually the squids) are going to buy a slower heavier bike when they can get the bling bling R6. The R6 is faster cruising up and down the strip yo. That being said I'd buy the 600rr over the R6 for street riding cause everyone has a damn R6. Of course I ride a slow-ass, over-priced, labor intensive 996. |

| Re: soft 600RR market? No, I'm not friends with tigerblade, he's trying to get a place on my racing team. I mean he's the biggest mooch in the world, wants to use my trailer, truck, ezup, want's riding lessons, eats the food I bring, uses my gas, generator, tools etc. I'd let him on the team if his bike could turn a lap without stalling. I mean it doesn't look good when a guy's team has a bunch of DNFs in the results column next to my consistant top 3 finishes. Plus he kinda scares all my bitches. If he get's his act together and gets rid of the honduh and get's an sv we might have a deal.

i really don't think the kickbacks are that big. maybe on a Rune, but not a 600rr. maybe $200 on a 600rr, IIRC. |
