need advice on scratches on cowling

Need some advice gents and ladies. My 2002 CBR 600 F4i suffered a tip over the other day and suffered a number of scratches to the right side of the cowling> Any advice regarding adding decals to cover up the scratches and still keep the bike looking stock and not over the top?

DA BIIIIIIIG Hello from NYC

hard to tell without looking at the damage....you would be better off just replacing the one piece

Get a set of colored markers or paint and if the scratches aren't too bad just color the scratch to match the color it tore through.
I don't know how bad it is. Back when I was learning the ropes I had a bunch of big band aid stickers I stuck over rash marks. Made for some good laughs and stories.

use crayons and rub it into the scratches. rub it in good and polish it off to make it smooth. make sure your towels or cloths are clean though other wise it just gets messy..

Re: need advice on scratches on cowling

Hey thanks for all the advice, I actually got new decals from Honda (it cost me a kiddney) but they covered all the scratches except one> I am going to try the crayon technique, I hope my four year old will not mind me raiding his crayon box. Hey, Jetpilot07 good luck overseas and come back in one piece.
